The Bunker Hill City Council passed a very special ordinance during its first session: The Bunker Hill Boy of the Day Act. Each night, the town would recognize one individual for their contributions to improving their town, both in reputation and in character and quality. In an inspiring display of character, the council unanimously decided that neither they, nor the mayor, could be awarded this honor. Pictured above is the voting process of tonight’s selection. The award went to Colton Pilakowski for his tireless work in the legislature among other acts and generally excellent behavior. This procedure is an important reminder that you need not have a position to contribute to the town. The town is built by the people and it should be for the people.
