American Legion Cornhusker Boys’ State is a civics and leadership experience for high school juniors. The goal of the camp is to educate, inspire, teach, and train the next generation of state and local leaders. Secretary of State Bob Evnen generously offered his time and expertise to the delegates. He discussed the importance and administration of free and fair elections in Nebraska and took questions from the delegates. Additionally, the elections at Cornhusker Boys’ State are overseen in part by volunteers from the Secretary of State’s office. They help educate the students on how to run proper polling places and administer election counts. Thank you to the Secretary of State and his staff!
