Wednesday morning Boys’ Staters from all of the towns joined together to hear what the PACs (Political Action Committees) had to say. The PAC Fair gives these individual lobbying groups the opportunity to spread their message to other delegates and raise funds to support causes and the candidates who represent them. Tonight, Boys’ State Delegates visited the National Guard Base. We got up close and personal with some of the equipment that the Nebraska National Guard uses to protect Nebraska’s citizens and learned about what these men and women do every day in their jobs at the base.
