Each summer, two delegates from each Boys State program in America are selected to attend the prestigious American Legion Boys Nation program in Washington, D.C.. The following students will represent Nebraska as Boys Nation Senators:
Roosevelt Wilken – Millard South High School (Omaha)
Reece Santamaria – Papillion-LaVista South High School
If either of the above primary delegates can not attend Boys Nation, the first alternate is Edwin Naranjo of Boone Central High School (Albion).
If either of the two primary delegates AND the first alternate are unable to attend Boys Nation, the second alternate is Rodney Tuttle Jr. of Papillion-La Vista High School.

Each year, citizens of every Cornhusker Boys’ State town vote to select their outstanding citizen. This award is special as it is recognition given by peers to an individual who has contributed to the town’s success and positive culture.

Many great athletes have attended Cornhusker Boys’ State. In addition to the team sports leagues, delegates compete in individual events during the week to determine the best all-around athlete. The award is named for the program’s longtime athletic director and volunteer, Coach Larry Frost. The 2025 Outstanding Athlete is Andel Riyangow of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. Runner-up is Benjamin Nelson of Boyd County High School, and third place is Jordan Farmer of Westview High School (Omaha).

The 2025 Legislature concluded with a session in the Warner Legislative Chamber at the State Capitol.
Representatives from each town spent the first hour wrapping up debate on priority bills. The week’s business finished with brief debate and voting on bills that made it to final reading. Eight bills addressing topics such as rural internet access, public schools, and veterans healthcare were passed and sent to the Governor for signature. Overall, it was a productive and successful session for the 2025 Cornhusker Boys’ State Legislature.
