Basketball moved outside today for their third and final regular-season games. Gettysburg and Manila Bay finished undefeated and will play for the championship, while Alamo and Yorktown entered their games needing wins to challenge for a spot in the 3rd and 4th place games; both brought home the victory, with Alamo narrowly winning in a 10-7 victory. Bataan and Bunker Hill will play in the 5th and 6th place game. Belleau Wood and Valley Forge continued their struggle, but they will get a chance to play each other for their first win of the week.

Cornhusker Boys’ State delegates were working diligently to convey their message and garner support from their peers. After the political party conventions this morning, candidates went “town to town” to meet their fellow citizens. This is the last chance to campaign before the primary election, held later today.

Cornhusker Boys’ State has two fictitious political parties, the Nationalists and Federalists. Boys State is divided equally and randomly into each party. They start from scratch and debate the “planks” of their platform. The platform is a set of principles and policy priorities of the party. This process is entirely student-led, primarily by the peer-elected party chairman at their party’s convention.
